LEARN-TO-SKATE Saturday 12:30pm-1:00pm

 This is great class to get familiar with “Rolling”.  This class focuses on

*Floor Etiquette

*Proper technique on falling and getting back on your feet

*Forward skating skills

*Proper stopping techniques

SKILLS & DRILLS Satuday 12:30-1:00pm

For skaters who have completed the Learn-to-skate class and interested in mastering the core fundamental skills of Roller Skating.  This class focuses on

*Core strength


*Power and Control


 (This class will have a portion taught off skates.) 

Skills & Drills prepares skaters for all disciplines of Roller Sports.

Adult Cardio Skate (children 14 and older who are proficient skaters and self-supervised may attend)
Sunday 12:30 - 1:30


Monthly class fee’s are as follows=

Learn to Skate/Skills & Drills = $35 (4 week class; no registration fee)
Cardio Skate = $30 per month (no registration fee)

Each SkateFIT Student is entitled to attend the public matinee skate Saturday’s from 1-4pm at no additional charge.

Commonwealth Roller Derby is an adult recreational and competitive junior roller derby league in Richmond, Virginia. New skaters are welcome at every practice! Inline skating is one of the most popular tools for fitness around the world. Individuals and families can maintain health and enjoy personal accomplishment through inline skating. Head coach and founder, Kelly Springer brings the latest research of training techniques and fitness programs along with training discipline that enhances life skills for work and family. Synergy practice on Sunday mornings from 10:30-12:30 and Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm. Practices are open to the public and cost $5 per skater.
